hi, i’m brandon callender. i’m a writer currently living in durham, north carolina, but jamaica, queens will always have my heart.

i’ve written profiles, reviews, and essays about music and culture for pitchfork, the fader, and passion of the weiss.

i’ve also worked on editorial projects and podcasts as a fact-checker. recently, i helped out on itsthereal’s 10-hour narrative podcast “the blog era,” by digging up more obscure facts about joe budden than i think are reasonable for any one person to know. i think its a pretty good listen though.
